The project entitled “Towards Regenerative and Sustainable Development and Society” was successfully completed in June 2024. We would like to express our thanks for the financial support we received from the Fund for Bilateral Relations within the framework of the EEA and Norway Grants 2014-2021. We would also like to thank staff at the Ministry of Finance of the Czech Republic for their assistance and cooperation with implementation of the project.

The e-book “Towards Sustainable and Regenerative Development and Society. Social Responsibility as a Potential Path” was published in June 2024, this being the result of joint efforts made by the Czech-Norwegian project team.

Defence of diploma theses is currently underway by students in the 2nd year of the master’s study programme Economy and Management of Chemical Industry Enterprises, which are, among other things, devoted to the topic of the “Sustainable and Regenerative Development”.

The topics for bachelor’s and diploma theses have been announced for the academic year 2023/2024, these being, among other things, focused on the topic of the project which is currently underway.

The Czech-Norwegian team is preparing three joint articles. The topics of these articles are sharing economy, circular economy and B2B services in the context of sustainability.

Representatives of the Norwegian partner - Rhys Evans, Johan Barstad and Matthew Hoffman from the University College for Green Development, Bryne, Norway will be visiting the University of Pardubice in November. They will be participating in a series of excursions, bilateral meetings, workshops, a seminar, and a round table.

Preparations are underway for the visit of Norwegian partners from the University College for Green Development, Bryne, Norway.

July 2022

On 18 July 2022, the Ministry of Finance of the Czech Republic – National Focal Point for the EEA and Norway Grants in the Czech Republic – approved the application for a grant from the Fund for Bilateral Relations (No. EHP-BFNU-OVNKM-4-079-2022) for implementation of the project “Towards regenerative and sustainable development and society”.

Within the framework of this project, collaboration will be developed between the University of Pardubice and the University College for Green Development based in the Norwegian city of Bryne. Research will be focused on the study of regenerative and sustainable development.
