Our intensive cooperation with elementary schools resulted in signing an agreement on cooperation. Five elementary schools in our region whose students were placed in the top positions in the regional round of the competition Search for the best young chemist confirmed their cooperation with the Faculty of Chemical Technology. As a result, they have become the “faculty schools” of FChT.
The aim of this close cooperation is to increase students’ interest in chemistry and technical fields. The students will have the opportunity to regularly visit the demonstration laboratory to deepen the knowledge and skills in the field of chemistry. They will also be supported in their preparation for chemical competitions (Festival of science and technology for children and youth organized by AMAVET, etc.). The directors of the five elementary schools appreciated this act and most of them appointed a chemistry teacher coordinator.
FChT signed memoranda with the following elementary schools:
- ZŠ Polabiny 3, npor. Eliáše, Pardubice
- ZŠ Studánka, Pardubice
- ZŠ U školek, Litomyšl
- ZŠ Školní nám., Chrudim
- ZŠ Cerekvice nad Loučnou
We believe that the cooperation will continue in the future.
