The Faculty of Chemical Technology at the University of Pardubice came alive on Friday, January 23, and Saturday, January 24, with its traditional Open Days.
The program on both days was opened by Vice-Dean Alena Komersová, Ph.D., who, in her introductory lecture in the Jan Palach Lecture Hall, familiarized visitors with our faculty and the study programs offered for the 2026/2027 academic year. Even before the event began, the first visitors arrived at our relaxation zone, and the subsequent questions from prospective students indicated that there would be great interest in this year's program as well.
So what was it like?
High attendance: A total of over 600 visitors came to see us.
First-hand study: Visitors gained a complete overview of the study programs and talked directly with teachers and current students about life and study at the faculty.
Excursions to laboratories: Tours of our laboratories and scientific centers, where teaching and research take place, were a great success.
A moment of peace: A relaxation zone with coffee and refreshments was prepared to recharge your batteries, which came in handy after a busy program.
We are delighted with the high level of interest and hope to see many of you again in September when you enroll in your first year. A huge thank you goes to the entire faculty staff. It was thanks to their dedication, professional approach, and good spirits that we were able to create such a great atmosphere on both days.
Thank you all for visiting, you were great!
