Description:
Research will be devoted to new crystalline and amorphous materials for optics and optoelectronics (semiconductors, thermoelectrics, amorphous materials and glasses namely chalkogenides, phosphates and oxides, memory materials), catalytic materials and cytostatics on the basis of organometallic compounds. Organometallic compounds of metals 3., 4., 5., 13., 14. a 15th group of periodic system containing chelate and spectator ligands will be studied as well as tinboroxine and tinstannoxanes. At the synthetized organometallic compounds the investigation will be concentrated on their structural characterization and their catalytic properties. At the crystalline and glassy materials the relations between the composition, structure and their properties will be studied. Chalcogenide glasses will bes tudied as bulk or as thin films and their photostructural changes will be investigated. Their study of electrical properties will be also relized, especially at the silver- and lithium-containing glasses.
