Description:
Submitted project "Study of macromolecular and supermolecular structures of solid-state materials", jointly proposed by Institute of Chemistry and Technology of Macromolecular Materials and Department of Graphics Arts and Photophysics, Faculty of Chemical Technology, University of Pardubice, is oriented to study composite materials and their constituents - polymeric and inorganic matrices, inorganic pigments and fillers, particle and fiber reinforcements. The project is focused on the compounds and materials covering construction and building materials, protective layers for surface modification of metals (anticorrosive paints), biomaterials for applications in medicine, compounds for surface modifications of textile materials. Further, the projects is focused on the study of properties and modifications of pulp, paper and other materials based on cellulose. Also, materials for applications in printing technologies and selected phenomena from the field of photophysics will be investigated.
