Description:
Project is focused to the synthesis of new transition-metal complexes in high purity, whose will be subsequently used in laboratory exercises of master degree programs. In these exercises (courses C054 and C058, study branch: Inorganic and Bioinorganic Chemistry) prepared compound will be characterized by students with spectroscopic methods (NMR, IR and Raman) and with magnetic susceptibility measurements. Selected complexes will be also tested as redox catalysts in oxopolymerization of unsaturated substrates with the course C092 (study branch: Technology of Polymers Manufacturing and Processing). Necessary multidentate ligands containing phosphorus and nitrogen will be prepared by Ph.D. students participating in proposed project.
