The project concerns with the innovation of laboratory focused on measuring and characterisation of properties of printing inks and varnishes. New equipment will replace old one, which is in an unsatisfactory condition. The equipment and special printing inks (conductive, thermochromic, etc.) would be used mainly in laboratory tasks of four subjects (Lab. Pract. in Printing Techn. II and IV, Special Projects in Printing Techn. I and II), and these devices also will find use in the measurement of experimental parts of bachelor and diploma thesis. Within lab. exercises, emphasis is placed on developing students' skills to solve practical problems and the processing of each task is to deepen the theoretical knowledge with practical experience. Approval of the project would allow the improvement of the educational process, which is conditional on the use of modern equipment, devices, materials and standards. It will increase the practical preparedness of students and their employability.
