Laboratory task devoted to development of multifunctional polymeric binders based on self-crosslinking structured latexes
Provider: Ministerstvo školství, mládeže a tělovýchovy
Programme: Interní rozvojová soutěž
Implementation period: 01.01.16 - 31.12.16
Workplace:
Team member: Machotová Jana
Description:
The scope of this project is to upgrade the existing study subject Labs I (UCHTML/C094) in terms of introducing modern trends in the field of water-based polymeric binders. A new laboratory task will be prepared, which will be focused on the development and study of one-component polymeric binders prepared using the technique of the semi-continuous emulsion polymerization. The investigated polymeric materials will be characterized by protective and safety features particularly in terms of flammability and controlled surface properties (paint coatings with low surface energy). Within the study of these materials, new themes for future graduate work assignment will be found.
