This project is focused on actualization of the course Chemistry of Film-forming Compounds and preparation of new study material for students of FChT-Upa. The material will cover the overview of the technologically important polymeric materials forming thin films. It will deal with natural and synthetic materials suitable for paint producing industry due to their protective and decorative properties. The attention will be given to description of the chemical processes occurring upon formation of the three-dimensional network from the polymeric chains. The relation between structure of film-forming materials and their physical-chemical properties will be discussed in detail. The study material will be used in study programs Chemistry and Technology of Materials, Graphic Arts and Printing Technology, Chemical and Process Engineering. The material will be available on intranet of University of Pardubice.
