Determination of ?9-tetrahydrocannabinol in blood plasma (urine) using by gas chromatography with mass spectrometry
Provider: Ministerstvo školství, mládeže a tělovýchovy
Programme: Interní rozvojová soutěž
Implementation period: 01.01.17 - 31.12.17
Workplace:
Fakulta chemicko-technologická - Katedra biologických a biochemických věd
Investigator: Kanďár Roman
Description:
The proposed project will enable the improvement of Clinical Biochemistry education within the degree course ?Analysis of Biological Materials? and ?Bio-analyst?. The newly established laboratory exercise ?Determination of ?(9)-tetrahydrocannabinol in blood plasma (urine) using by gas chromatography with mass spectrometry? exposes students to current clinical laboratory practice. The analysis of drugs in biological samples (blood plasma, urine) is a routine task in clinical biochemistry and toxicology laboratories. Gas chromatography with mass spectrometry is also in these laboratories routinely used.
