Description:
The aim of the present project is industrial research and experimental development of sustainable advanced manufacturing technologies leading to the synthesis of vinylchloroformates previously produced by Hg compounds. At present, the goal is to create a technology that removes Hg compounds from the process and replaces them with less harmful substances to the environment. It will be a new industrial process, where industrial automation will be applied in a man-machine collaboration. The whole process will be monitored through diagnostic and information systems in terms of involvement in Industry 4.0. The involvement of the project in the Industry 4.0 initiative can be seen mainly in the interconnection of two multi-level systems for the management of research implementation and the subsequent production of commodities of the chemical industry.
