In line with the Faculty's strategic plans concerning the efforts to continuously improve the courses at FCHT and, at the same time, make them more attractive, the subjects of Forecasting in Business Management and Business Operations have been included in the newly accredited study programme Economy and Management of Chemical Industry Enterprises. Both of these subjects extend students' competences in business activities, and for this reason they also meet the demand of chemical industry companies looking for graduates who can be assigned to business positions. While Business Operations are a subject returning to the study programme after many years, Forecasting in Business Management is a completely new subject. The aim of the proposed project is to ensure the creation of these subjects so that the course reflects the current theoretical knowledge while supporting the development of students' software skills in the IBM SPSS statistical software.
