The current trend in education is to improve the student's relationship to physics and, in general, to all technical subjects. This implies the need for improving of the quality of the teaching of these subjects as a one of the basic compulsory subjects in the first year of studies at the Faculty of Chemical Technology. From the long-term perspective, we aim to encourage the technical thinking, which is necessary to understand most of the natural phenomena and is essential for the work of a future engineer. Moreover, the small space allocated for physics studies today, call for a careful selection of laboratory and demonstration experiments. They should, as much as possible, facilitate and deepen the understanding of the underlying ides in accordance with topics discussed in the lectures.
