The aim of this project is an introduction of a new laboratory exercise to the subject Laboratory of biochemistry. In this exercise students will assume basic practical skills for working with nucleic acids. The content of the exercise will be qualitative determination of nucleic acids (i.e. differentiation of DNA and RNA using simple proof reactions of saccharides present in nucleic acids) and quantitative determination of nucleic acid concentration by calibration curve method.
