Description:
The aim of this project is to develop a new type of UV varnish for inkjet machines with higher adhesion to polymeric materials than existing varnishes cured by radical polymerization. The developed varnish will be cured by UV LEDs, which have undergone significant technological progress in the last decade and are the most promising sources for UV-initiated polymerization of inks. Main advantages of UV LEDs are long life, low power consumption, instant on/off, stable performance over time, etc.
