Description:
Pancreatic cancer is one of diseases with the highest mortality, in which late diagnosis is the main problem. At present, there are no sufficiently accurate and reliable noninvasive methods in clinical practice detecting this disease at early stages, which is a prerequisite for successful treatment. Our method offers the possibility of early screening of pancreatic cancer based on analysis of the lipid profile of blood samples. The main objective is to automate and verify a simplified methodology for targeted analysis of dysregulated lipids applicable in clinical practice.
