Description:
Study of new inorganic materials will be aimed at new and non-traditional crystalline and amorphous materials for optoelectronics, optics and electronics (narrow-gap semiconductors, amorphous and glassy inorganic materials based on chalcogenides, phosphates and oxides). Another group of materials under study will be compounds organometallic compounds and heterocycles. Among organometallic and coordination compounds study will be devoted to the nontraditional organogermanate hydrides and their possible application as catalyzers. New oxide compounds crystalline and amorphous will be prepared and studied. New nanomaterials on the basis of ZnO will be prepared as well as nanocrystalline phosphors on the basis of oxides and oxid-sulphides. Chalcogenide glasses will be studied as bulk materials and thin films. Thin films will be studied as perspective materials for their photoinduced changes and their application. Preparation of nanostructures in thin chalcogenide films with the application of optical and electron lithography will be investigated as well.
