Description:
The project will focus on finding optimal technologies and preparing new matrix systems based on the treatment of textile materials with using organic dyes and pigments and textile auxiliaries, which are on the market, and will combine their suitable properties. These dyes will be dyed with textile materials and a compound containing a quaternary nitrogen and with some advantage (lipophilicity) also a long (fatty) aliphatic chain will be attached to the sulfone or carboxyl group. Other treatments, such as mordanting of cotton and loading of protein fibers, then introduce metal cations (Cu, Sn) on the textile material. These matrices (modified materials) will gain new parameters compared to the original - classic ones. On the one hand, they will be classically tested for color fastness and, most importantly, tests for antimicrobial activity and antiviral activity will be performed.
