Description:
Study of special inorganic materials and technologies will be devoted to new and non-traditional crystalline and amorphous materials for optoelectronics, optics and electronics (narrow-gap semiconductors, amorphous and glassy inorganic materials based on chalcogenides, phosphates and oxides, materials for electronic memories based on phase changes and ionic conductivity changes). Another group of materials under study will be compounds suitable for homogeneous and heterogeneous catalysis and cytostatics based on organometallic and coordination compounds. Study of organometallic and coordination compounds in the year 2021 will be directed on the reactivity of nontraditional organogermanate hydrides and their possible application in the reduction of organic substrates with multiple chemical bonds. At the synthetized organometallic compounds their structure and catalytic properties will be investigated. For the oxide and phosphate glasses their basic physical properties will be determined as well as their chemical durability, thermal stability and their optical properties. The relations between their chemical composition, structure and properties will be evaluated. Chalcogenide glasses will be studied as bulk materials and also as thin films, which will be studied as perspective materials for their photoinduced changes and their possible applications. Preparation of micro- and nanostructural elements from thin chalcogenide films will done with the application of optical and electron lithography.
