Advanced methods of fabrication of tellurides of selected metalloids and post-transitions metals will be studied in the frame of the project. The attention will be paid to the physical methods of thin tellurides films deposition (radio-frequency magnetron sputtering, pulsed laser deposition) as well as to laser ablation synthesis and chemical room-temperature liquid-phase synthesis.Deposition/synthesis conditions will be optimized with the aim of fabrication of high-quality telluride thin films and (nano)structured or powder materials. Prepared tellurides will be characterized in detail by available methods. The results of the project will lead to telluride materials with innovative properties, composition, and optimized conditions of their fabrication.
