Description:
The project focuses on the research and development of electrode materials for lithium batteries that will have electrode repair capability due to the presence of self-healing polymers. These have the ability to heal cracks in the electrodes that form during the cycling of the batteries, thanks to external cues. In addition to these layers, sensors will be developed to detect inappropriate conditions in the batteries, such as the aforementioned cracks in the electrodes or the occurrence of other problems in the batteries. Due to the presence of sensors, appropriate actions will be carried out through the BMS to counteract the problem arising in the batteries.
