Description:
In the field of environmental chemistry and engineering, the project will generally focus on technologies that can be used for the pre-treatment and purification of process, waste and municipal waters using, for example, pressure membrane processes, precipitation processes, indirect electrochemical oxidation, or a combination of ion exchange, sorption and chemical degradation, and methods of analytical evaluation of the species and concentration of contaminating substances and methods of preparation and subsequent analysis of samples, or the study of ecotoxicity, which concerns new materials and substances already present in the environment, and also for the purpose of verifying the effectiveness of decontamination processes. Research in the area of business sustainability and production sustainability management will be focused on the possibilities of implementing the concept of regenerative development with an emphasis on industrial enterprises and their responsible behaviour and communication. The area of the environmental and social approach to the sustainability of production, the choice of packaging materials, or the influence of selected Industry 4.0 technologies on the sustainability of businesses will be mapped and analysed. Furthermore, the issue of CSR communication towards customers and other key stakeholders will be addressed.
