Basic and applied research of advanced materials perspective for chemical and pharmaceutical technologies
Provider: Univerzita Pardubice
Programme: Studentská grantová soutěž
Implementation period: 01.01.23 - 31.12.23
Workplace:
Fakulta chemicko-technologická - FCHT
Investigator: Košťál Petr
Description:
The project research goals are focused in three main and two minor scientific areas. The main topics of the project, in which the most researchers are also involved, can be identified as research areas focusing on catalysis, pharmaceuticals and chalcogenide amorphous materials. Catalytic studies will be focused mainly on the synthesis and characterization of promising new catalysts. As part of pharmacokinetic studies, the research will be focused mainly on enteric-coated capsules of drugs prepared by 3D printing. Research in the field of chalcogenide amorphous materials will be focused on the study of physical properties and kinetic phenomena in these materials. In addition to these main topics, selected hydrates of nitrates promising for application as substances for thermal energy accumulation will be studied. The research will be also focus on synthesis and characterization of hybrid hydrogels for agrochemical applications.
