Description:
In the field of chemical engineering, the project will generally focus on thermal processes, hydrodynamic behaviour of fluidized layers and the study of rheological behaviour of non-Newtonian fluids. In the field of environmental engineering, the study will focus on technologies usable for pretreatment and purification of process, waste and municipal waters using, for example, pressure driven membrane processes, electrochemical oxidation processes, or the issue of using ion pairing and water purification by subsequent ozonation, and on methods of analytical evaluation of types and concentrations of contaminants and on methodologies for preparation and subsequent analysis of samples that relate to new materials and substances already present in the environment, monitoring of air quality inside buildings, assessing environmental impacts and also for the purpose of verifying the effectiveness of decontamination processes. Within the research in the field of communicating CSR activities, the research focuses on a comprehensive analysis of the influence of socially responsible behavior (CSR) of companies with process production on customer purchasing decisions. The aim is to evaluate the effectiveness of CSR communication through alternative channels, specifically using innovative elements on packaging and selected digital tools, using artificial intelligence (AI) methods and the principles of behavioral economics. At the level of corporate management of sustainability attributes, the research is devoted to the economic evaluation of circular activities and further to examining the significance of biodiversity on the principles of dual materiality within the European chemical industry. An integral part of the solution is also the identification of misleading communication attributes (greenwashing) and the setting of crisis management mechanisms for communication in the environment of companies with process production.
