cze Syntéza a vlastnosti chirálních diketonů odvozených od imidazolu a vinné kyseliny Opticky aktivní izomery (S,S)- a (R,R)-vinné kyseliny představují levný a dostupný zdroj skeletu s C2 symetrií, obsahujícího dva asymetrické uhlíky. Funkčními deriváty vinné kyseliny, které se využívají jako chirální ligandy, jsou její diestery (DMT, DET a DIPT). Od struktury kyseliny vinné lze odvodit další chirální ligandy, z nichž zřejmě nejúspěšnější při asymetrické katalýze je TADDOL a jeho deriváty. Sloučeniny s potenciální katalytickou aktivitou jsou heterocyklickými analogy TADDOLu, v nichž je fenyl nahrazen imidazolovým jádrem. Byly syntetizovány tři ketony a tři dioly podle obecného schématu. Syntéza vycházela z kyseliny (2R,3R)-vinné, která byla reakcí s 2,2-dimethoxy propanem převedena na (4R,5R)-dimethyl-2,2-dimethyl-1,3-dioxolan-4,5-dikarboxylát a ten dále reakcí s dimethylaminem na příslušný diamid. Reakcí tohoto diamidu s lithnou solí N methylimidazolu byly připraveny ketony se dvěma imidazolovými jádry. Z připravených přečištěných ketonů pak byly stejnou reakcí a za stejných podmínek získány příslušné dioly se čtyřmi imidazolovými jádry. Největším problémem syntézy bylo čištění finálních produktů (použita chromatografie). U všech syntetizovaných sloučenin byly změřeny konstanty stability komplexů s iontem Cu2+ v methanolu. Nejvýznamnější je vznik komplexů s poměrem kov:ligand 2:1 a 1:2. Hodnoty konstant stability komplexů výrazně závisejí na velikosti substituentů v polohách 4 a 5 imidazolového jádra. eng Synthesis and properties of chiral diketones and dioles derived from imidazole and tartaric acid Optically active isomers of the (S,S)- and (R,R)-tartaric acid are inexpensive and readily available skeletons with C2-symmetry having two chiral atoms. A number of various tartaric acid-derived compounds have already been developed for the application as chiral ligands in the asymmetric catalysis (e.g. esters ? DMT, DET or DIPT), however, TADDOL and its derivatives is most likely the best known catalyst. Replacing the phenyl substituents in TADDOL with the heteroaromatic imidazoles provides an access to a new class of the optically active derivatives of tartaric acid. We have synthesized three diketones and dioles according to the scheme above. The synthesis starts from (2R,3R)-tartaric acid and its protection/esterification using 2,2 dimethoxypropane followed by the reaction with dimethylamine furnishing the corresponding amide. Treating this amide with the C-2 lithiated imidazoles we gained the diketones and subsequently dioles. In addition, a complexation ability of such compounds has been verified measuring the stability constants of complexes with Cu2+ in methanol. We observed formation of the complexes at a ratio of 2:1 as well as 1:2 (metal:ligand) depending on the structure (R) of the ligand used.
