eng Nanocrystallization in Amorphous Oxides Nanocrystalline materials exhibit special properties that predetermine their wide application. High specific surface area and catalytic activity of titania based nanocrystalline oxides are used in catalysis and photocatalysis. The addition of nanocrystalline phase in ceramics leads to improvement of mechanical properties of such materials. Therefore nanocrystalline oxides can be used to obtain the ceramics with defined properties. One of the most popular methods of synthesis of nanocrystalline oxides is a controlled crystallization of amorphous precursor prepared by precipitation process or sol-gel method. This work is aimed to determine kinetics of crystallization process in amorphous TiO2 under both isothermal and non-isothermal conditions. nanocrystalline materials, crystallization kinetics
