eng Oxidative Dehydrogenation of Crotonaldehyde Crotonaldehyde and furan are intermediates of the partial oxidation of butan and butadien with formation of maleic anhydride over VPOx oxide system as the best catalysts. In connection with this modern technological industrial process of commercial important products e. g. furan and maleic anhydride, the great interest in investigation of crotonaldehyde oxidative dehydrogenation takes place. Furan is a raw material for tetrahydrofuran and maleic anhydride is chemical intermediate for obtaining of e. g. unsaturated polyester and succinic anhydride. The mixed metal oxide (Mo-V-O) were found as active and selective catalysts for oxidation of acrolein to acrylic acid and they seems to be promising catalyst in oxidative dehydrogenation of crotonaldehyde. In this study, results of furan and maleic anhydride formation in catalytic oxidative dehydrogenation of crotonaldehyde over Mo-V-O catalyst are shown. crotonaldehyde, dehydrogenation, catalyst
