eng Mo-V-O Catalysts for Partial Oxidation of Crotonaldehyde The mixed metal oxide (Mo-V-O) were found as active and selective catalysts for oxidation of acrolein to acrylic acid and they seems to be promising catalyst in oxidative dehydrogenation and partial oxidation of crotonaldehyde which is one from the possible steps of partial oxidation of butane and butadiene to maleic anhydride. In this study, we report results of furan and maleic anhydride formation in catalytic oxidative dehydrogenation of crotonaldehyde over (Mo-V-O) catalyst and attempt to make obvious the effects of composition of catalyst and variable reaction condition. partial oxidation, crotonaldehyde, catalysts
