cze		Four complexes derived from azo dyes (two of them are also used as acid-base indicators) - Methyl Orange (2) and para-Methyl Red (1) - and [(2-dimethylaminomethyl)-phenyl](diphenyl)tin(IV) moiety have been prepared and their NMR, MS, IR, Raman and UV-VIS spectra were measured and X-ray structure determined. All these results will be discussed. The compounds reveal the same structure in chloroform and in the solid state, respectively. The central tin atoms exist in slightly distorted trans-trigonal bipyramidal geometry and are bounded to the dye by monodentate bond fashion.	organotin, azo dyes
