eng Properties of Corrosion Organic Inhibitors Based on Citrates. This paper deals with preparation and application of zinc and calcium salt of citric acid in a model anticorrosive paints. Concerning the water solubility of such salts, it was suggested to use them as a co-inhibitors in combination with zinc phosphate anticorrosive pigment. The aim was to find the most effective citrate/phosphate weight ratio. Such solid mixtures were dispersed in styrene acrylate dispersion. Coated metal samples were tested on durability to filiform corrosion and salt fog environment.
