eng Properties of Surface Treated Silica Based Fillers in Coatings The paper deals with the properties of fillers with nonisometric particle shapes, which have been subjected to a surface treatment and precipitating the hematite layer. The filler samples based on silicates, especially of the talc type with a different composition of oxidic phases, further special three-component filler composing of mica, quartz and talc (Plastorite), and further muscovite mica have been evaluated. The fillers were applied to coatings and the anticorrosion and physicomechanical properties were evaluated. nonisometric particle;talc;coatings
