eng	Characterisation of group G streptococcal strains recovered from humans	Group G streptococci form a heterogeneous group of microorganisms. In humans, they may colonise pharynx, skin, gastrointestinal and female genital tract. However, they have been reported with increasing frequency as a cause of variety of human infections with clinical manifestations similar to infections caused by S. pyogenes.
