cze Various Oxidation Reactions Leading to Imidazole. Long-lasting dehydrogenation on palladium/carbon in toluene, oxidation using activated MnO2 in toluene, and oxidation using Fremy's salt have been occured as three successful and applicable synthetic to oxidation of 2-(2-alkoxyphenyl)-1H-imidazolines into imidazoles. New 2-(2-alkoxyphenyl)-1H-imidazoles have been prepared by this way, their structures have been confirmed by elemental analysis, IR and NMR spectroscopy.
