Měli by se kromě jiného umět poučit z nežádoucích událostí, jež se jim při práci přihodí. Abychom je tomu naučili, rozhodli jsme se analyzovat spolu s nimi příčiny několika nežádoucích událostí, které se staly ve školních laboratořích. Použili jsme přístup, který vychází z analýzy kořenových příčin. Příklady ze školních laboratoří ukázaly efektivnost tohoto přístupu. Pokud chtějí učitelé studenty naučit učit se z vlastních chyb, nejvíce k tomu přispějí, když jim předvedou, že to dělají sami. eng Learn to learn from own errors ? utilization of undesirable events from laboratories as examples for the teaching of safety competencies Students of chemistry should obtain certain safety competencies. Among other things they should be able to learn from undesirable events that happen during their work. In order to teach them this we decided to analyze, together with them, causes of a few undesirable events which had happened in school laboratories. We applied an approach that was based on the root cause analysis. Examples from school laboratories showed the effectiveness of this approach. If the teachers want to teach students how to learn from their own errors, they will communicate it the best way when they show how they do it themselves. Learning from the incidents in chemistry labs provides a suitable opportunity for this. incident cause analysis;safety culture;safety management
