eng Investigation of the filter screen resistance effect on the course of the cake filtration from a viscoelastic liquid The constant pressure cake filtration of Krasten polystyrene particles from viscoelastic aqueous solutions of polyacryl amide Kerafloc and Praestol on filter screens with different resistance has been investigated experimentally. A filtration equation has been presented and confirmed by experiments. It was shown that the higher filter screen resistance caused a shift of filtration curve and the curve became to be linear.
