eng Terminal falling velocity of solid particles in non-Newtonian liquids In this contribution, the methods for determination of the drag coefficient and terminal falling velocity of solid particles moving in various types of non-Newtonain liquids are briefly described and commented. The relationships for calculation of the drag coefficient of spherical and non-spherical particles falling through purely viscous and viscoelastic fluids are presented.
