eng Synthesis of Novel Derivatives of 4-Amino-3,5-Dicyanopyrazole Diazotization of substituted arylamines followed by reaction with malononitrile gave substituted arylazomalononitriles. Cyclization of these intermediates with chloroacetonitrile and triethylamine, as base, gave the corresponding new aminodicyanopyrazoles, e.g. I, in 22-80% yields.
