cze Zavádění environmentálního manažerského účetnictví a zkušenosti podniků v České republice První pokusy o využívání EMA byly v České republice realizovány v souvislosti s potřebou změnit přístup podnikové sféry k životnímu prostředí. Implementace EA do praxe českých podniků ve druhé polovině devadesátých let 20. stol. spočívala především ve sledování a vyhodnocování environmentálních nákladů. Potřeba řídit environmentální náklady vyplynula z nárůstu prostředků, které podniky vynakládají na ochranu životního prostředí nebo v souvislosti s jeho poškozováním. Systém ECA začaly využívat především podniky, které implementovaly systémy environmentálního managementu (EMS). Článek se zabývá nejprve analýzou současného stavu v oblasti zavádění EMS v České republice. Zaměřuje se na důvody implementace a na očekávané a skutečné přínosy EMS. Předmětem zájmu je dále současný stav implementace ECA v podnicích, které mají zaveden EMS. Článek poukazuje i na předpokládaný vývoj využívání EMA v rámci podnikové sféry v ČR. eng Introduction of the Environmental Management Accounting and Company Experiences in the Czech Republic The first attempts at the use of environmental management accounting (EMA) were taken in the Czech Republic in relation to the need for a change in the approach of the enterprise sector to the protection of the environment. Implementation of environmental accounting in the practice of Czech companies during late 1990s consisted particularly in tracking and evaluation of environmental costs. The need for management of environmental costs followed from an increase in the funds expended by the companies for environmental protection or in connection with environmental damage. The systems of environmental cost accounting began to be employed particularly by companies that implemented environmental management systems (EMS). The paper deals first with an analysis of the current state of affairs in the area of introducing EMS in the Czech Republic. It concentrates on the reasons for implementation and the expected and actual benefits of EMS. It is also concerned with the current state of implementation of environmental cost accounting in companies that have implemented EMS. The paper also refers to the anticipated developments in the use of EMA within the company sector in the Czech Republic. Environmental management accounting; environmental management.
