Vnesením iontů La3+ a Gd3+ do Fe2O3/FeOOH a následnou kalcinací za vyšší teploty se mění barva pigmentu v důsledku tvorby perovskitové sloučeniny na okrovou až oranžovou barvu.Vnesení iontů Lu3+, Tm3+ and Yb3+ do Fe2O3/FeOOH způsobuje vznik tmavé hnědočervené barvy. Barva pigmentů se mění také v závislosti na použité výchozí sloučenině železa. Pigmenty připravené z oxidu železitého mají světlejší a sytější barvu, avšak pigmenty připravené o hydroxid oxidu železitého obsahují větší množství červeného odstínu. eng	Synthesis and Characterisation of LnFeO3 Pigments	The main aim of the research was to prepare and study pigmentary-application properties of the rare earth orthopherrite of general formula LnFeO3. Adding La3+ and Gd3+ to Fe2O3/FeOOH and calcining at high temperature changed the colour of the pigment due to formation perovskite compounds. These lanhanide ions form raw sienna to orange colour. Adding Lu3+, Tm3+ and Yb3+ to Fe2O3/FeOOH forms pigments with dark reddish brown colour. Colours of pigments also vary depending on type of used iron precursor. Pigments prepared from iron oxide are brighter and deeper, but pigments prepared from FeOOH containe bigger amount of red hue.	Orthoferrites;LnFeO3;Inorganic Pigments
