eng Structural Studies of CsBr-doped Ge-Ga-S Glasses by Raman Spectroscopy Three glass compositions from the ternary Ge-Ga-S system doped with CsBr (0-20 mol%) were prepared and studied by Raman spectroscopy. The additions of CsBr into the parent Ge-Ga-S glasses results in a small shift of the dominant Raman bands towards shorter wavelengths and in a change of the position and shape of vibrational bands in the region of 226-276 cm-1. The reason for the observed changes of Raman spectra and possible effect of CsBr on the structure of Ge-Ga-S glasses are discussed. Glasses, Structure, Raman Spectroscopy
