cze Thermal and optical propertie of phosphate glasses Glasses from PbO-ZnO-P2O5 system (23 different chemical compositions organized into 4 rows, resp.) were prepared and systematically studied. The increase in the density (3.6 ? 5.6 g/cm3), in the glass transition temperature (Tg = 270 ? 394 °C), and in the active index (n = 1.64 ? 1.87) was observed with the increase in PbO for P2O5 content. Simultaneously, the value of the optical gap (Eg = 5.39?4.49 eV) decreased. In the case of substitution of PbO for ZnO (P2O5 content = 40 mol. %) it is suggested that the nanophase separation at the composition 40PbO-20ZnO-40P2O5 cannot be excluded.
