Modifikací reaktivních barviv v uvedeném smyslu slova rozumíme reakci reaktivní skupiny reaktivního barviva s vhodnou nízkomolekulární sloučeninou. Produkt této reakce je však schopen, na rozdíl od prosté hydrolýzy reaktivního barviva ve vodném prostředí, jak je všem barvářům a koloristům známa, další reakce s barveným substrátem. Takto vhodně modifikované barvivo má některé přednosti ve srovnání s nemodifikovanou výchozí formou. Je to především často vyšší afinita a reaktivita modifikované formy, která se projeví vyšším stupněm fixace barviva na barveném substrátu a často také vyššími stálostmi.	reaktivní barviva
eng	The Possibility of the Additional Modification of Reactive Dyes for Textile Industry.	The modification of reactive dyes in our presentation is, in the fact, the structural change of reactive group. An original reactive dye reacts with ?low molecular compound? (LMC) forming new reactive group, where the rest of LMC is leaving group. Thus, during the coloration of a substrate this LMC is liberated into the dye-bath and the dye is fixed on the fibre with a covalent bond. Modified reactive dye has some better properties in the comparison with original reactive dye. At first it is, of course, higher rate of its affinity and its fixation on the fibre and consequently the higher wash and wet fastness of coloured samples	reactive dyes
