A parallel-consecutive reaction scheme was suggested for conversion of propane to propene and propanal and acetone. The reaction intermediates to oxygenate products, which necessarily involves an oxygenation step, should be probably: i) the 1-propyloxy or allyloxy species as precursorof propanal and ii) 2- propyloxy species as precursor of acetone and propene. propane, dehydrogenation, nitrous oxide
