eng New Trends in Research of Energetic Materials The eighth International Seminar on new trends in research of energetic materials (EMs) was an international meeting of young people and university teachers working in the field of teaching, research, development, processing, analysing and application of all kinds of energetic materials. This meeting was systematically focused on the topics of Initiation and Ignition but an attention was devoted also to other problems of the energetic materials (stability, thermal reactivity, physics of explosion, syntheses of some EMs, etc.). It was not aimed only at the exchange of professional information but also to create pleasant meeting where young specialists from 22 countries had the opportunity to meet and gain personal contacts. energetic materials,explosives, initiation, detonation
