eng	Anomalous Catalytic Behavior of VOx-HMS Catalysts in the Partial Oxidation of n-Butane	The catalysts prepared by impregnation method were characterized by means XRF, UV-VIS, SEM-EDX, H2-TPR and N2-BET methods. This catalyst exhibit significantly higher ability to form monomeric vanadium oxide species compared to the amorphous silica support. The V-HMS catalysts exhibit anomalous behaviour of the dependence of the n-butane conversion on the temperature. This dependence exhibit significant maximum of the conversion degree at the temperature 350°C followed by decreasing of this value to minimum at 450°C. Intensity of this effect is proportional to the surface concentration of the monomeric VOx species. The butenes, butadiene, furan, acetaldehyde, 2,3-dimethyloxirane and carbon oxides were detected as the main products of the reaction.	n-Butane;Partial Oxidation;Vanadium Oxide;Hexagonal Mesoporous Silica
