cze Vytvrzování flexotiskových UV barev a UV laků Cílem práce bylo sledování a porovnání rychlosti vytvrzování komerčních flexotiskových UV barev a UV laků pomocí fotokalorimetrie a infračervené spektroskopie (FTIR). Fotokalorimetricky byly naměřeny vytvrzovací charakteristiky UV laků při různých teplotách. Z naměřených křivek byly zjištěny hodnoty odpovídající indukční periodě a rychlosti polymerace. Rychlost vytvrzování radikálových i kationtových UV systémů s rostoucí teplotou klesala. Radikálové UV laky vykazovaly přibližně stejnou hodnotu indukční periody při měnící se teplotě. U kationtových UV laků bylo zjištěno, že indukční perioda v závislosti na teplotě rychle klesá. FTIR spektrometrem byla naměřena infračervená spektra nevytvrzených, vytvrzených i částečně vytvrzených vzorků barev a laku, na jejichž základě byl navrhnut postup sledování stupně vytvrzení UV barev a UV laku v závislosti na dávce UV záření. Zelená barva při laboratorních testech vytvrzovala podstatně pomaleji než ostatní barvy, což může způsobit problémy s kvalitou tisku (s přijímavostí při přetisku). Při studiu přetisku laboratorně dobře vytvrzující červené barvy zelenou na potiskovacím přístroji však zelená barva pod jiným UV zdrojem vytvrzovala podobnou rychlostí jako ostatní barvy. eng Monitoring of flexo UV inks and varnishes cure process The scope of this study was to evaluate the cure rate of commercially available flexo UV inks and varnishes by means of photocalorimetry and infrared spetroscopy (FTIR). The temperature dependency was monitored by photocalorimetry. With increasing temperature the curing speed decreased for both the radical and cationic systems. Induction period was approximately same for radical varnishes whereas diminished significantly with temperature in case of cationic systems. The cure degree in relation to UV explosure was evaluted from course FTIR spectra of raw, partialy and fully cured UV inks and varnishes samples. The initial results reveal green ink beeing cured more slowly than the others can effect print quality especially trap of overprints and make the press hard to control. However, further experiment focused on overprints showed that when different light source is used the curability of green ink became similar to the others, thus suggesting that the initial light spectral power distribution was not suitable.
