eng Comparison of Vanadium Based Mesoporous Materials in Oxidative Dehydrogenation of Ethane The focus is given to (i) the activity of single V-HMS catalysts in ODH of ethane, (ii) the effect of different supports (SBA-15, MCM-41) used for preparation of various vanadium catalysts (iii) relation between structure of vanadium species in HMS and their relation to ODH of ethane and (iv) the effect of Mo, Sb, Fe and Co addition into V-HMS catalysts on the resulted activity/selectivity. Catalysts were characterized by X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, nitrogen adsorption (determination of specific surface area), UV-Vis diffuse reflectance (determination of different vanadium oxo-species) and voltammetry of microparticles.
