Sloučeniny na bázi Bi2O3 byly připraveny z důvodu jejich schopnosti dávat zajímavý oranžový odstín. Intenzivní oranžový odstín je založen na začlenění popovaných Ln iontů do hostitelské mřížky Bi2O3. Pigmentové směsi byly připraveny kalcinací základních oxidů při střední teplotě kalcinace, tj. 800 °C. eng	New Pigments Based on Bi2O3	The research of our workplace is focused on investigation of new inorganic pigments which can substitute the problematic pigments with regard to the environmental point of view. The compounds based on Bi2O3 were synthetised because of their ability to give interesting orange hues. Intense orange colours of these pigments are based on the incorporation of doped Ln ions into the host lattice of Bi2O3. The pigment mixtures were calcined at middle temperature of the basic starting oxides and prepared at the calcination temperature 800 °C.
