eng	Achiral and α-Amino Acid Derived Dicationic Imidazoliophanes	Achiral and chiral imidazoliophanes were prepared by N-alkylation of chiral imidazole derivatives featuring an α amino acid motif and subsequent double quarternization of the imidazole N3 position of the corresponding precyclophanes.
