eng Essential Oils Analysis in Herbal Beverages Using Single-Drop Microextraction Technique The main aim of this work was optimization of the extraction conditions for the isolation of essential oils from the herbal beverages using the SDME method. The controlled parameters were sampling method, sample amount, extraction time, extraction solvent and its volume, effect of pH, ionic strange and stirring speed. For the obtained extract analysis the gas chromatography coupled with flame-ionization detector was used. For the qualitative peak evaluation both the relative retention indices and standard addition methods were used while the method of standard addition was used for the quantitative analysis. The results were compared with the values obtained by the analysis of original herbs using the HS-SDME technique in static configuration. Essential Oils; Herbal Beverages; Single-Drop Microextraction
